MY REVIEW
People often are asking me my opinion of the Polar FT4 Heart Rate Monitor so I decided I'd do an official review of it!
Personally I love it and compared to other heart rate monitors it's actually very reasonably priced. The chest strap is comfortable and when it is fitted correctly you can hardly tell you're wearing it. One thing I don't like is that when you order it, it comes with a M-XL chest strap. I've lost several inches since I purchased it so now I have to tuck it into my sports bra to keep it from sliding down. I need to order a size S-M now. So I wish that you could chose the size you want (which you may be able to on some sites. I purchased through HHGREGG and it wasn't an option). I do love knowing how many calories I've burned during my workout and it seems very accurate to me. I had an issue with the transmitter and one point and contacted Polar and they replaced it no questions asked since it was within a year. So I thought that was pretty awesome. I wish though, that it could be synced to an app like the fitbit. That's one thing that has had me considering switching to Fitbit Charge HR. I like the idea of being able to track my calories burned during workouts while also being able to track sleep and steps and it logging to an app. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this heart rate monitor!
